A natural sodium bentonite, milled and air classified to give a consistent fine powder.

Montmorillonite Minimum 85%

Bulk Density  800 – 900 Kg/m3

pH (5% aqueous) 8.5 – 10.5

Viscosity 1 part bentonite to 15 parts deionised water (6.25% solids) dispersed by high shear mixer gives a FANN viscometer reading of 5-20 cps.

Maximum 5% retained on a 150µm sieve (100 mesh)
